Speed Tolerance (573A/24)

The NPCC guidance on speed work (incl. fixed, average, smart motorway, speed gun and camera vans) advises, as guidance, of a tolerance of 10% of the speed limit plus 2mph.
Please could you advise if WMP follow this guidance from the NPCC and if not, what the tolerance is across the force?

I can confirm under Section 1(1)(a) of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) that this information is held by West Midlands Police. However, I am withholding that information since it is exempt by virtue of Section 31(1)(a)(b) – (Law enforcement) and Section 38(1)(a)(b) – (Health and safety).
