During this transition some information may only be available on either this site or the new one. Section 19 of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requires every public authority to adopt and maintain a publication scheme which has been approved by the Information Commissioner, and to publish information in accordance with the scheme.
There is currently one approved model scheme which must be adopted by all authorities. This identifies the seven classes of information and the specific information the ICO expects authorities to publish under each.
