Officer Convictions (704A/23)

Please list the number of police officers in the last five years who gained criminal convictions whilst serving with this force and the nature of the conviction. I would like the figures in the form of a table which gives the total number (not name) of officers convicted of the crime; the type of crime; and whether they are or were on restricted duties as a result of the crime.

We want our officers to uphold the highest of standards so the public has the utmost confidence in them.
Criminal activity is unacceptable but when it is done by a police officer – who holds a position of power and someone the public should trust – it must be rooted out and eliminated.
We must do everything we can to maintain public confidence and trust in policing.
This will provide reassurance to the public that we mean it when we say we’ll do all we can to preserve and rebuild trust.
