We fully understand the devastating impact burglary can have on those affected whether in their home or business environment. We know this really matters to local people, as does the way we record and investigate these crimes.
We have listened and we are now working to ensure this commitment is implemented as soon as practically possible.
In addition, prevention and problem-solving work – which sees us working with a range of partners to better understand and tackle burglary and business crime, continues.

In addition, the number of incidents/crimes recorded in an area over a period of time can be influenced by a number of factors. Consequently, statistics on incidents/crimes for one period may not necessarily be a good indicator of future incidents in that area.
