Can I please request the number offences recorded, type of offence recorded and the outcomes for offences recorded. From all Tesco retail sites within West Midlands police force area. Recorded between 31/07/22 – 31/12/22

Please find attached our response (1165A_Attachment). Please also be advised that we have conducted a search for Tesco stores in the ‘Incident Address’ field, however, this data will have captured offences that occurred at the location address, offences that occurred close to the location address, and offences that were reported at the location address but occurred somewhere else. This is because the ‘Incident Address’ field can be used to capture the nearest identifiable landmark to the offence. In order to isolate cases for offences that occurred at the address only, we would need to conduct a manual review of each crime record. Due to the number of records however this would exceed the appropriate limit (FOIA, s.12).
