I would like to request the number of officers who went on sick leave last year as a result of injuries sustained in the line of duty (as covered by Operation Hampshire).

For the period 1st January – 31st December 2022, 67 Police Officers took time off where the reason for absence was recorded as ‘Assault – On Duty’.
Some of these officers may have been off more than once during the year, but in total there were 67 different officers in that time period.
