Our data are not organised in such a way as to allow us to provide this information within the appropriate (cost) limit within the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act (see ‘Reason for Decision’ below).
Although excess cost removes the force’s obligations under the Freedom of Information Act, as a gesture of goodwill I have supplied information, relative to your request, retrieved before it was realised that the fees limit would be exceeded. I trust this is helpful, but it does not affect our legal right to rely on the fee’s regulations for the remainder of the request.

Mediums / Psychics may have phoned in to offer help, and this may be recorded in a number of places, either on an incident log, on a crime, or in the investigation notes. This information however, is not a mandatory field, and could be embedded in many locations.
For this reason, the information for this question is not held in a retrievable format as we would need to check every single reported crime / incident (which would run into thousands per year), for any recorded contact from such a medium / psychic.
To check the crimes / incidents alone for a key word “Medium” “Psychic”, (time period 03/02/2020 – 21/02/2023) brings back 4,439 results including many records such as ‘medium risk misper’ or ‘man of medium build’ which are not relevant. To manually check all of these would take 15 days at 5 minutes per record which would exceed the cost time limit.
