Our data are not organised in such a way as to allow us to provide this information within the appropriate (cost) limit within the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act (see ‘Reason for Decision’ below).
We can locate theft of fuel reports – this however includes both fuel as in petrol / diesel (ie a bilking or theft from a parked car; and also fuel as in heating oil. We cannot differentiate between the two without going into each individual record. This then leads on to the arrest factor, we would have to evaluate every crime to see if an individual had been arrested, as the arrest title would be “theft” only.
There are 3212 recorded of theft of fuel for 1st Jan 2023 to 22nd Jan 2023.
