I am writing to make a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Please can you provide the following information for every month between April 2017 and March 2022 – broken down on a monthly basis:
The number of Section 60 orders that were put in place
Of these – How many were extended to the maximum time of 39 hours?
- How many were in place for longer than 39 hours?
- The number of people who were stopped and searched under Section 60 orders
Of these – How many resulted in an arrest?
- How many stop and searches fell into the following ethnicities: White, Black (or Black British), Asian (or Asian British), Other Ethnic Group, Mixed, Not stated / Unknown
