Answer: 2 Officers

Answer: 1 Officer Would have been Dismissed and 1 received a Final Written Warning
Q3: In relation to all the incidents in Q.1 where specific racist or sexist/misogynistic words or phrases were used please (i) state what these words or phrases were and (ii) the specific disciplinary sanction imposed on the officer.
Answer:
We can confirm that some relevant information is held by West Midlands Police. However, we are withholding that information since it is exempt by virtue of the following exemptions
S40 (2) Personal information
Section 40 (2) allows for personal data to be withheld where release would breach the third party’s data protection rights. It would be unfair to release this information where any person could be identified from the data and in this case the right to privacy outweighs any public interest in release. Given that there are only two results to give the actual words used / details of the complaint / allegation may lead to these individuals being identified.
Result: one would have been dismissed, but left prior to this decision
Result: one received a Final Written Warning
