Could you please provide me with the annual number of dedicated wildlife officers West Midlands Police has had from 2009-2019.

There are currently 17 Wildlife Crime Officers with West Midlands Police, however none of these are dedicated roles. The role is performed alongside that particular officer’s primary role. West Midlands Police are unable to provide the number of Wildlife Crime Officers in an annual breakdown, as some may have left / retired and the information for those officers is not available.
