Royal Sutton Coldfield has one police station located on Lichfield Road, it has over years been reduced in staffing for a variety of unknown (to me) reasons.
The station is now threatened with complete closure and the PCC has failed to explain properly the reasons for closure or his plan for the future policing of RSC.
I wish to know what the current staffing of the station is, I wish that this includes all staff both officers, PCSOs, back room staff and any other category of employee. In addition I would like to know how many police vehicles are based at the station and what category of vehicle they are, eg. Police patrol, fast response vehicles. Should there be no fast response vehicles can you additionally tell me where this category of vehicle is travelling from. I would also like to know how many firearms officers are based at the station and again if the answer is none, where these officers travel from.
