Stress / Anxiety (15931/18)

I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Can I please have the amount of officers in your force that have taken time off work for mental health/anxiety/stress related issues.

I would like the total number of days of all absences.

Can I please have a yearly breakdown over the last 10 years, since January 1, 2008, up until Wednesday 12 September, 2018

For example, it may look like:

2008: 34 officers, 300 days in total.

2009: 40 officers, 345 days in total.

2010: 31 officers, 280 days in total.

Please find attached our response.

The figures provided therefore are our best interpretation of relevance of data to your request, but you should be aware that the collation of figures for ad hoc requests may have limitations and this should be taken into account when those data are used.

If you decide to write an article / use the enclosed data we would ask you to take into consideration the factors highlighted in this document so as to not mislead members of the public or official bodies, or misrepresent the relevance of the whole or any part of this disclosed material.
