Seized Vehicles (1862/20)

Request

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, can you please provide the following information;

  • For the year 2019 (or last year for which data is available);
  1. How many vehicles were seized by West Midlands Police,
  2. How many vehicles seized by the West Midlands Police were sold at auction,

and where the information is available

How many vehicle were sold at auction as a result of the owner or keeper failing to respond to a request to retrieve the vehicle.

For the purpose of answering question 1a and 1b, it does not matter what power was relied upon, or what the reason was for either seizing the vehicle or selling the vehicle at auction.
