PCSO Shift Patterns (1914_18)
how many PCSOs work on Monday to Friday only, could you please provide the information as at 1/12/17?
Please find below a summary table. This provides those who work weekends and then a role based categorisation of those with no weekends in their pattern
In terms of the results, this shows that as at the required date 37 PCSOs were working on shift patterns that did not include any weekend working. These roles are partnership and other non-7 day roles which are where a PCSO is in a team that would not work 7 days a week, therefore the posting is one of organisational demand and the 50% weekend requirement would not need to apply.
The 18 NPT roles are PCSOs showing on our system who are in neighbourhood teams, so we would normally expect them to be working a 7 day pattern. However, without querying each of those then there is no evidence on the system, either way, to say if they not working weekends due to an organisational or personal requirement.
|Role / Pattern Summary||No. Staff|
|Other Non-7 day Organisational role||7|
|Neighbourhood Policing Teams||18|
Every effort is made to ensure that the figures presented are accurate and complete. However, it is important to note that these data have been extracted from a number of data sources used by forces for police purposes. The detail collected to respond specifically to your request is subject to the inaccuracies inherent in any large scale recording system. As a consequence, care should be taken to ensure data collection processes and their inevitable limitations are taken into account when interpreting those data.
The figures provided therefore are our best interpretation of relevance of data to your request, but you should be aware that the collation of figures for ad hoc requests may have limitations and this should be taken into account when those data are used.
