Officers Criminal Convictions (409_14)


1) How many police officers within your service area have received criminal convictions since they were recruited?  Please provide a list of all the offences of which current serving officers have been convicted. Please also indicate how many of these officers are currently facing disciplinary proceedings.

2) Do recruits who transfer to your police service from another force undergo the same vetting procedure as a new recruit? If not, what is different about the vetting procedure?

3) How many police officers within your police service that are responsible for carrying firearms or Tasers have a criminal conviction relating to physical violence?
