The issue of police budget cuts is a concern to many people, and I’m trying to gather information on this issue.

As part of this, I am writing to make a request under the Freedom of Information Act for copies of correspondence (including letters, emails, faxes and similar) between senior officers and the Home Office in the last six months (from October 1, 2014 onwards) that make reference to concerns about police budget cuts. By senior officers, I mean Chief Constable, Deputy Chief Constable, and Assistant Chief Constable level in non-London forces; Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, and Assistant Commissioner level in the Metropolitan force; and, Commissioner or Assistant Commissioner in the City of London Police.



I am writing to inform you that we have searched our records and the information you requested is not held by West Midlands Police.  I have linked in with all staff officers and personal assistants within the Command Team and they identified no information.
