Notice of Investigation (12714/19)
Please can I have for the last 15 years a breakdown of the cases bought against officers/staff by the WEST MIDLANDS POLICE BY ETHNICITY.
This will include,
The number of Notice of Investigations served on Police Officers/Staff by ethnicity.
How long these cases lasted before the final hearing/result/resignation and how long they lasted before being suspended.
Whether these NoI’s led to an acquittal, misconduct or gross-misconduct (again by ethnicity).
And of these how many led to a guilty verdict and being fired.
OFFER AND ACCEPTANCE
Within the cost limit we could search for every officer or staff member that has attended a misconduct meeting or gross misconduct hearing however the earliest record of a meeting or hearing would be 2009.
From 2009 is absolutely fine. I am hoping their must as part of the data must be time frames from when the incident started. I would like the data from when it is recorded. But yes any time periods for suspension etc would be ideal. But again even if its for a handful of incidents the start of the investigation until the date of suspension/gross misconduct hearing is the ideal goal. But happy to accept what is within your time frame and what is recorded. I certainly do not require data even as far as 2009 if it takes much longer to get the data.
