Information sharing between organisations (1134A/20)
1) Is there a set protocol between West Midlands Police and Birmingham City Council with regards to accessing, securing, preserving and analysing CCTV footage as evidence?
2) If so, will you please disclose internal and external guidelines about the matter?
3) In particular, what are the internal guidelines and procedures if and when the Birmingham City Council does not respond to a request to access CCTV footage? For example, will the Police re-contact the Council? Are there reasons why the Police would not, for example, want to make a second or a third attempt at accessing CCTV footage? Can the Council ignore a request from the Police of accessing CCTV footage?
