Domestic Animal Theft (185_15)
I am gathering information together regarding domestic animal theft in several areas, and I would like to find out the latest annual figures for the aforesaid domestic animal theft in Birmingham.
Alongside the total amount animals stolen, could I please obtain information on the split between different types of animals? For example- how many of the total quantity of animals stolen were dogs (etc.…).
Furthermore, could I obtain the figure for how many of these stolen animals were returned to their rightful owners?
For clarification purposes, by domestic animal crime I do not mean livestock (sheep/cattle) – Rather Cats, Dogs, Fish, Rabbits, reptiles or birds (perhaps parrots), horses etc.
Please see attached (185_attachment_01.pdf).
