Request

1a) How many crimes of domestic abuse were reported from Jan. 1, 2019 through April 30, 2020? Please provide the data broken down by week if possible. If weekly data is not available, please provide the data broken down by month.

1b) Please include how many of these reported domestic abuse crimes involved at least one victim under the age of 18 and if possible please include a gender-breakdown of the victims. If possible please also include the type of crime (for example assault, coercive control, sexual abuse etc.).

2a) How many domestic abuse arrests did you carry out from Jan. 1, 2019 through April 30, 2020? Please provide the data broken down by week if possible. If weekly data is not available, please provide the data broken down by month.

2b) Please include how many of these domestic abuse arrests involved at least one victim under the age of 18 and if possible please include a gender-breakdown of the victims. Please also include the reason for the arrest (for example assault, coercive control, sexual abuse etc.) and the outcome (for example charge, caution, no further action etc.) if possible.

Response

Please be advised that with regard to question 2 we are unable to break the data down for victims under the age of 18 because victim data is not available from our custody database. Therefore, the information provided for question 2 is based on all arrests with a domestic violence flag. Please find this information attached.
