I am writing to you pursuant to the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (‘the

Act’) to request the following information from West Midlands Police regarding Operation

Close Pass:

A. On how many occasions since September 2018 has Operation Close Pass been

run and what format did these sessions take?

B. Where have these sessions taken place, and how many times in each place

that it has been run?

C. How many of the drivers caught were given either, a formal warning, a fine or

sent on a course?

D. How many drivers were stopped on each run of the operation, and in what

area?

E. Have there been any prosecutions?
