Clare’s Law (1830_16)


How many requests have been made under Clare’s Law (the Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme) since it went nationwide on 08 March 2014 i.e. the number of requests made to your constabulary between 08 March 2014 and 08 February 2016.

Please could you break down the figures as follows:

Number of requests made

Number of requests which were ‘right to ask’

Number of requests which were ‘right to know’

Number of requests which resulted in disclosure

Sex of the victims
