Further to your email, received 9 January 2014 concerning Camera’s on Officers on the Street I am pleased to enclose the following information.  Please note that these data are the closest we hold to your request. They should not be interpreted as representing anything other than as described in this response.


How much you spent on cameras to be worn by officers on duty in 2013 and what is the forecast was to buy cameras in 2014

2013 – Trial at Birmingham West Central – £11,024

2014 – Proposed trial Birmingham South – £25,922.96 (Awaiting authorisation)
