Our data are not organised in such a way as to allow us to provide this information within the appropriate (cost) limit within the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act (see ‘Reason for Decision’ below).This information is not centrally held in a retrievable format in respect question 1 – How many stabbing victims have died since 2017 January to august 2019 where it’s taken over a year for (at least one of) their killer (s) to be jailed? Each log would need to manually located, retrieved and the details reviewed to see if this was relevant to you request, to complete this would exceed the cost threshold under FOI.

 

 

The cost of compliance with the whole of your request is above the amount to which we are legally required to respond, i.e. the cost of locating and retrieving the information would exceed the appropriate costs limit under section 12(1) of the FOI Act 2000.
