Response

1)            During the last 2 calendar years how much money has been spent on staff overtime costs?

From January 2013 to December 2014 our ledger shows spend on all overtime codes for staff including Public Holiday of £3,292,000

Please note that the above figure may not all relate to overtime worked within that time period due to the timing of overtime claims/journals and also that £618,000 is met from external funding sources.

2)            During the last 2 calendar years what is the largest amount of total overtime paid out to one individual staff member/s? What was the ranking of this member/s of staff?

Not all entries on the ledger contain the details of the individual to which they relate so the figure below is based on the information that is available by individual.

= £29,000 band C.
