How many officers have received medical treatment as a result of being spat on/at so far this year (2016) and in 2015?
Please provide a breakdown for me giving the month and year of each incident, and if possible the gender of the officer.
Our data are not organised in such a way as to allow us to provide this information. Our Occupational Health Department do receive numerous sharp/splash injuries of which include incidents where officers have been spat upon. Unfortunately these incidents are not separately recorded on our system, therefore to obtain the requested data would require a manual search.
