REASON FOR DECISION
Please note that researching each individual case would exceed the appropriate limit (FOIA, s.12 (1)). There is no relevant (junior/youth football games/matches) marker or age field on our incident system and a search where the ‘Incident Location Feature’ is ‘Football’ or ‘FC’ (football club) and the ‘Initial Brief Incident Detail’ field is ‘Football’ retrieved 2,689 logs and it would involve researching each log to see if it was relevant.
Therefore, the cost of compliance with the whole of your request is above the amount to which we are legally required to respond, i.e. the cost of locating and retrieving the information would exceed the appropriate costs limit under section 12 of the FOI Act 2000.
