I am sending this request under the Freedom of Information Act to ask for the following information relating to hit and run incidents in your police force area:

1)    How many road traffic collisions have been reported in your police force area for the calendar years:

  1. 2013
  2. 2014
  3. 2015
  4. 2016
  5. 2017

2)    How many road traffic collisions where the perpetrator failed to stop at the scene of the incident were reported in your police force area for the calendar years:

  1. 2013
  2. 2014
  3. 2015
  4. 2016
  5. 2017

3) How many road traffic collisions where the perpetrator failed to stop at the scene resulted in a perpetrator being charged in your police force area for the calendar years:

  1. 2013
  2. 2014
  3. 2015
  4. 2016
  5. 2017

4)      How many road traffic collisions resulting in at least one fatality where the perpetrator failed to stop at the scene of the incident were reported in your police force area for the calendar years:

  1. 2013
  2. 2014
  3. 2015
  4. 2016
  5. 2017
