During Birmingham Pride pedestrians are prevented from walking on/accessing certain public streets unless they purchase a wristband.
For the period from the end of Birmingham Pride 2018 to date (a period of approximately one year) please provide the following:
All correspondence and documents relating to wristbands, street closures and restrictions on access for vehicles, pedestrians and residents who live within the wristband restricted area and employees who work within it.
I would expect this to include between West Midlands Police and Birmingham City Council and between West Midlands Police and the organisers of Birmingham Pride. Also any correspondence between West Midlands Police and members of the public, residents and businesses.
Please find attached our response.
