Please disclose the management/ oversight procedure for ABE interviews at West Bromwich Police Station and the standard audit of resulting storage media (DVD Discs), until their submission to the CPS.
Please disclose the standard number of media (DVD Disc count) produced, for an ABE; where the full duration of the interview is less than 60 minutes.
Also, for any ABE that is started and not completed (or is suspended), how is that recorded in the police investigation log; are start, duration, end times recorded and other than the interviewer, is there an independent management sign-off requirement.
Lastly, are visitors entry, exit logs kept (with times), for non-police visitors to police stations? How long are these records kept?
Please find attached our response. I apologise for the delay in responding.
